Your Valuation by RICS Registered Valuers
A property valuation provides you with the market value of a house or flat. Essentially, the market value is how much a buyer is willing to pay or the amount a seller is willing to accept in the sale of a property.
The Process
The process typically involves an inspection by a RICS Registered Valuer undertaking an inspection of the property to get an accurate account of the condition, size, layout etc. A thorough market analysis is then carried out, looking at similar properties that have recently been sold in the area. Suitable adjustments are made to reflect differences before arriving at a valuation figure and a professional report being produced.
Purposes
There are many reasons why you may need a RICS Valuation Report. These include;
*Although all our reports follow the strict RICS Global Valuation Standards, some Housing Associations may require you to use a select few companies from their panel of companies. Before instruction, you should at first instance check with your Housing Association.
